Pricing
Pay per document, not per month
You choose the kind of signature for each document when you send it. Resending an invitation does not use a credit. If a document is not signed, its credits go back to your balance. A new account starts with no credits.
Simple electronic signature (SES)
1 credit per document
- The recipient signs in the browser from the link in their email
- An optional access code that you share by phone or chat
- The signed PDF with the signer's digital signature, a certificate page and an event log
SignClearly confirms that the recipient controls the email address. It does not check who they are.
Advanced electronic signature (AES)
2 credits per document
Everything in SES, and also:
- The recipient shows an ID document and takes a selfie with a third-party identity service
- The name on the ID must match the name you entered, or they cannot sign
- The signer's certificate carries the name from the ID
Signing your own document is always SES and uses 1 credit.

How credits work
- Credits are used when you send a document for signature or start signing your own. The cards above show how many.
- If a document is not signed because the recipient declined, you revoked the link or it expired, its credits go back to your balance.
- With an ID check, a credit stays used for each ID check attempt that got a result, passed or failed, because the identity service charges for every attempt. Abandoned attempts are not counted.
- Resending an invitation is free.
- A new account starts with no credits. Buy a pack before you send your first document.
- Packs are paid once through Stripe Checkout. There is no subscription.
Questions about pricing
How does pricing work? Do I need a subscription?
There is no subscription: you buy credits in packs and pay per document with them. If a document is not signed, its credits go back to your balance. Packs are paid through Stripe Checkout, a new account starts with no credits, and resending an invitation is free. Current packs and the cost per document are on pricing.
Does an advanced signature (AES) cost more?
Yes, an AES with an ID check costs more credits than a simple electronic signature (SES). If the document is not signed, the credits go back, except a credit for each ID check attempt that got a result, because the identity service charges for every attempt. The current cost of each kind is on pricing.
