Signature generator

Draw your signature with a mouse or a finger, or type your name and pick a handwriting style. Download it as a PNG with a transparent background. It all happens in your browser: SignClearly does not receive what you draw or type.
Ink color

Stays in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

How to use the PNG

  • Word or Google Docs: insert the file as a picture and set text wrapping to In front of text, so you can move it onto the signature line.
  • A PDF editor: most editors have an option to add an image or a stamp. Place the PNG on the line and save.
  • An email footer: add the PNG as an image in your email signature settings. Keep it small, about 200 pixels wide.

The background is transparent, so the signature sits on the page without a white box around it.

Nothing leaves your browser

The drawing and the typed name stay on your device. The page draws the image in your browser and saves it with your browser's download. SignClearly does not receive or store it.

A picture of a signature is not proof

Anyone can copy an image and paste it onto a document, so a PNG on a page shows little about who signed or when. When you need proof, have the person sign through a service that records how the signature was made.

SignClearly sends a PDF to one person by email. They sign in a browser, and you get back the signed PDF with a certificate page and an event log with times and IP addresses. How it works. Electronic and digital signatures explained.
